Hello and welcome to Les Merveilles - a site devoted to Malice Mizer. Basically, Les Merveilles is an easy way for people to share their love for Malice Mizer. It's an open, free directory that anyone can contribute to and take from. My hopes for this are that this may become the most thorough set of Malice Mizer music, videos, sheet music, and fan works as possible.
Now, how I intend to do this and how you can contribute and gain from this: I'm using Gmail as the method of upload and download - basically, people email to the same account and can take from the same account because the email address and password are open to the public. I will tell these at the end - meaning you have to read the rules first (and if you don't, just remember this: respect the artists and respect the site. If in doubt, then READ THE RULES)!!
Rules:
*First off, remember that all media is for trial purposes only!!! Support the artists!!! (and I don't mean that you should go buy their cds off ebay now that they're disbanded because that doesn't do much for the artist himself - I mean, send them a check or something!! haahaaaa.....) No, but seriously, make sure that everything's deleted off of your computer within 72 hours in respect of the artists.
*Don't do anything stupid like delete people's files or anything like that. Respect!!
*Please don't put up stuff from other bands like L'arc~en~Ciel, or Miyavi, or..... basically anything not related to Malice Mizer. It's okay if you upload things from people who used to be in Malice Mizer (for instance, Gackt, Klaha, Moi dix Mois, etc.) and from Midi:Nette, but if you want to do, say Luna Sea, please create a separate site/Gmail account (you can use a Gmail invite off of this one, but please don't take them for personal use). Then you can tell us about it here.
*When putting things up, please catagorize things by things like "fan fiction" or "reviews" or "videos", etc. Keep it neat!!
*Yaoi stuff is accepatble but please warn people about it so that if they're offended by such things, they don't have to look at it.
*Check that something is not already on the site before you put your stuff up. (This excludes reviews and fan stuff....)
*Respect other people's opinions in writing reviews.
*Use stars on the gmail account to reccomend things (but remember that other people can also unreccomend things and change things around, so the reccomendations you see are just what the last person there put)
*Most of all, enjoy it. (I really mean this - because this site is for the public and by the public)
And if you don't follow these rules, well you'll just see what I can do to you!! For an example of this, press the F11 button now. See? My immense powers to command your computer are out of proportion! But no, in all seriousness, just please respect the artists and the site...
